How to Make a Lot of Bacon, Quickly

Bacon is like every person’s secret lover. It’s a reason many wake-up in the morning and one of the big reasons people say they could never go on a vegetarian diet. The crunchy saltiness makes it a big hit for everyone from babies learning to eat to people who have been living for a hundred years. People would eat it every day if it’s wasn’t so annoying to make.

Pan-fried bacon takes forever to make as you perfectly crisp only a few pieces at a time. Usually you need to cut them up to fit them in the pan and then there’s the whole bacon-grease-spitting-all-over-you thing you have to worry about too. You shouldn’t let either of these reasons keep you from ever enjoying the amazing bacon and with this life hack — you can enjoy bacon every day if you wanted to.

Ingredients
  • A full package of bacon
Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with foil (optional: place a grill rack on top) line the bacon on top, arranging so they don’t touch
  2. Place in non-preheated oven at 400°F and cook for 18-20 minutes or until crispy and brown.
  3. Remove from heat and transfer cooked bacon to paper towels to absorb any grease
